Day Of Heartache For Haitians In Quincy Home
Wednesday was a long, sad day for faithful Haitian workers at Hancock Park in Quincy.
Nearly a third of the staff at the skilled nursing center and assisted living residence are Haitian, and the morning after the devastating earthquake, there were many tears — but also prayers, comfort and food to share as the employees all showed up for work. All were worrying about family members, some with more than 20 relatives in one family, in Haiti. All were trying desperately to reach them. See the full story in Thursday’s Patriot Ledger.
